On October 15-17, in Budapest - Hungary, two Officials of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Vyakuno and Mr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra participated in the Water Summit 2019. The event was organised by the Governement of Hungary and under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Hungary, and was held with high-level speakers discussing the challenges of the emerging water crises – issues concerning abundant, scarce and polluted waters – and their social, economic, environmental and political consequences.
His Holiness Pope Francis sent his message to participants which was read during the Opening Session by Mr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra, Offical of the Dicastery in charge for water related issues.
