On morning Monday, May 25, 2026, the Synod Hall at the Vatican was filled with people, including leading representatives of the Vatican Dicasteries and the Roman Curia, members of the diplomatic corps, and journalists. All had gathered in the presence of the Holy Father for the launch of his first encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas. The event was also streamed online.
