On the morning of July 17, 2019, a meeting was held in Nairobi, Kenya, between the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development and some Commissions of the Conference of Catholic Bishops of Kenya (KCCB).
During the exchange of views and information, numerous topics of common interest were discussed, including the promotion of integral ecology, agricultural and forestation activities, coordination between Catholic health structures, and the involvement of young people and marginalized people in Church activities.
The meeting, presided over by Father Daniel K. Rono, Secretary General of the KCCB, was attended by representatives of the following Episcopal Commissions: Pastoral Care; Health; Missionary Works; Refugees, Migrants and Maritimes; Justice and Peace; Caritas.
The Dicastery, whose commitment is to maintain and strengthen relations with the local Churches, was represented by the official of the Ecology and Creation area, Dr. Tebaldo Vinciguerra.
