The field of investigation of this document produced by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace (since August 2016 merged into the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development) - is limited because it deals only with the so-called conventional or classic weapons, however we think that it puts its finger on one of the most open and at the same time most secret scourges of our time.
The arms trade is of all times and of all continents, but today, with a constant evolution, it is so wide and complex that it requires a clear and demanding reflection.
