The joint commitment of religions for peace and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by the UN, is the theme that inspires the cultural event that will be held tomorrow in the Paul VI Hall, in the Vatican.
Intended as an integral part of the international conference organized by the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development on the theme "Religions and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Listening to the cry of the earth and of the poor", which will be held from 7 to 9 March at the New Synod Hall, the event will see the participation of internationally renowned artists from different countries and belonging to different cultures and religions.
The initiative is primarily a meeting between religions committed to peace and development, for the protection of the planet, justice, work and education, and to overcome poverty, hunger and inequality.
An encounter on the notes of art, music and dance, a privileged vehicle of shared values, an instrument for the elevation of the spirit and the edification of the human being, who finds confirmed, or discovers in it, its dignity as a human being.
