The film dedicated to the Encyclical Laudato si' is out!

Freely available on YouTube, "The Letter" was presented on 4 October in the Holy See Press Office

The documentary, produced by the Laudato si' Movement in collaboration with the Dicastery for Integral Human Development, highlights the power of humanity in the face of the urgent need to stop the ecological crisis, and features quotes from Holy Father Francis and testimonies from around the world.

It was presented on 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis, at the Holy See Press Office at 11.30 am. Card. Michael Czerny, Prefect of the DSSUI, together with Hoesung Lee, President of the Intergovernmental Panel of Experts on Climate Change (IPCC); Cacique Odair "Dadá" Borari, protagonist of the film and Chief General of the Maró Indigenous Territory, Pará (Brazil); Lorna Gold, President of the Board of Directors of the Laudato si' Movement; Nicolas Brown, writer and director of The Letter.

The world premiere took place at 6.30 p.m. in the Vatican, in the Synod's New Hall.
